Surrounded by color,
Blind.
Vibranceness overwhelming,
Blind.

Music floating through life,
Deaf.
Tapping, whistling, strumming,
Deaf.

Soft velvet to the finger tips,
Nothing.
Puppy slobber on the face,
Nothing.

Fresh apple pie and rain,
Scentless.
Sweet roses and sexy cologne,
Scentless.

Mac and cheese,
Tasteless.
Mint chocolate chip ice cream,
Tasteless.

Laughter and smiles,
Numb.
Hugs and tears,
Numb.

Sarah, I would just like to encourage you with this verse, and remind you of God's promises. And let me assure you, that He is there, no matter what. And He will NOT Leave you alone. And this: Every season must end. So if you are in a time of winter, do not despair of spring coming.

I love you, and I'm praying for you. Please, look up these verses; The second one in particular saved my life, and carried me through some of the darkest days in my life. I pray that they may do the same for you.

In this poem, it displays the feeling well...that there is no feeling. That first of all comes out very clear. I'm a visual person, and by the end I had a vivid image of someone, no one in particualr, just a figment of imagination. This person...just there. Only in existence, but since they can't feel have no reason to be. So they just stare into the distance, not taking in any beauty, any life by any of their gifted senses. Things that many people in general pose as symbols for happiness, such as balloons, small children, even a smile, go unnoticed. And the person can't even shed a tear for missing out. I don't know why I thought of this, but I did. I again encourage you to keep up with whatever you find pleasure in. Just by your poems I've seen that you've grown already! I love you!! ♥

Harry Potter was just a baby when the most powerful wizard killed his mom and dad and tried to kill him, but for some reason the little baby got away with only a scar on his forehead. 1 chorenhians 10:31 What ever you do, do it for the glory of GOD. I put this verse up on my mirror in the bath room so I can read it every morning. I have to be reminded all day every day that it's not about me it's about God, and it being about God means it's about the people around us. Today I reallllllly wanted to sleep in and NOT GO TO CHURCH, while I know God would still love me I went anyways and now I'm so glad I did. Our paster used a quote that said, "Live fully, Love wastefully." (sarah isn't smart enough to rember who said it.) When we put these two thoughts together we can truly learn to live like Christ and live the life that Christians are supposed to. I wrote a persuasive speech this year that is on a really hard issue for a lot of conservitive Christans to agree with.
